Ethno Mobile

Today many people always have a camera with them, the one on their smartphone. Ethno Mobile refers to ethnographic surveys with users and/or buyers of a particular product or a service. With this research format participants use their smartphone to create video and photo material in response to specific tasks required by a moderator.

Why
Ethno Mobile is a minimally invasive method and makes it possible to gather a wealth of information direct from “real” life:
It connects with consumers in their environment, in the places of consumption and use, and / or with buyers in the places of purchase of the product or service under investigation ; It gives the right amount of freedom to the sample – a freedom which also encourages the naturalness and creativity of the answers – and allows participants to have a lot more time to focus on their own needs (everyone takes videos, pictures and writes from everywhere they want, taking all the necessary time).
